A Conversation with Kelcey
Kelcey Rice is a technology consultant for NTT DATA with an emphasis in the telecom, media, and entertainment industry helping enterprises simplify their digital transformation. Kelcey received her bachelor’s from Kansas Wesleyan University while on the Women’s Varsity Golf team. She began her career in Toledo, Ohio as an account manager for a technology hardware company, Perry proTECH then traveled to Fort Worth, TX to settle down with her husband and her new 9 month old baby.
The ability to help people leverage technology to simplify this already complex world is what drives her career ambitions. Being a disciplined athlete in her younger years rolled over into her professional career and has helped her achieve great results. Rice explained “Putting my clients first and having their best interests at heart is what makes my job, you could say easy. I find that meeting new people, facing new challenges and obstacles everyday makes life interesting and exciting.”
Her career and family are both extremely important to her and having the ability to intertwine both brings her peace and fulfilment. “Although, I am still early on in my career I have very ambitious goals for myself and my clients. Throughout these coming years I hope to continue to grow and always be open minded to learning new things. WICT is a community I am excited to be apart of to help others grow their careers, achieve personal/professional goals and build strong relationships with.”
