Inspire Mentoring Program

2023 Program Overview

The WICT Greater Texas chapter’s Inspire Mentoring program is for all level professionals who seek the guidance and encouragement of a mentor. In this program 6 month program, mentees are paired with mentors (Industry subject matter experts) who will support their program goals and develop a pathway to success in sharing their expertise and resources.

This is a formal program that offers participants:
• 1:1 Pairing
• Mentor/Mentee Kick Off Introduction (Program Expectations)
• Development Session
• Capstone

Through this program attendees will build skills of mentors who continue to support the growth and development of others. Additionally, to encourage development, confidence, networking and so much more for mentees.

The mentoring program will offer zoom sessions for all to join remotely, however, encourages those in close local offices to identify a location to join together.

DATES

• May 8 – June 9: Registration Open
• June 12 – June 16: Mentor/Mentee Pairing
• June 19: Pairing Announcements during this week
• June 29 | 9:00am-10:30am CST: Programming Kick off – Mentoring 101/Introduction Session (Mentors and Mentees)
– Zoom Session/In Person attendance options for all attendees – Invites will be sent to calendars
• August 24 | 9:00am-10:30am CST: Mentor/Mentee Mid Program Development Session
– Zoom Session/In Person attendance options for all attendees – Invites will be sent to calendars
• December 14 | 10:00am-11:00am CST: Capstone Celebration- Inspire Mentoring Cohort Celebration
– Zoom Session/In Person attendance options for all attendees – Invites will be sent to calendars
