Ashley Ashton is a Senior Recruiter at Charter Communications, a leading broadband connectivity company and cable operator serving more than 32 million customers in 41 states through its Spectrum brand. With a background in providing exemplary customer service and organizational team support, Ashley brings over 13 years of experience building outstanding relationships with clients. In her role as Senior Recruiter, Ashley works with Senior Leadership and Sr HR Leaders to develop a comprehensive recruitment strategy. She identifies alternative recruitment methods such as online recruitment methods, professional organizations, technical programs, and universities to target technically skilled individuals requiring highly specific industry certification. Ashley manages the full recruiting lifecycle to include selection, offer and onboarding process, utilizing an applicant tracking system to maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and applicant files and proper disposition of candidates.
Her special project included organizing and recruiting for the entire state of Texas, including RDOF/Aerial Construction (Managers, Supervisors, Maintenance Tech, Construction Coordinators, Field Techs, Fiber Techs, Aerial Construction Techs, and Construction Supervisors). She is committed to remaining up-to-date on latest recruitment technologies and trends, and is passionate about professional career growth and encouraging others in achieving success. Ashley earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary in Kinesiology & Leisure Studies from Oklahoma Baptist University and has achieved her Certification in Human Resources Management.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family and serving the community through her church and a local non-profit, Embrace Grace. Ashley is an advocate for fitness and wellness, and you can often find her encouraging others towards mental, emotional, and physical positivity.
