Juli Blanda is a Vice President of Cable One (Sparklight) and head of the company’s Midwest Division. She is responsible for over 400 associates and the overall operations of four of CableOne’s brands in cable systems in Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Illinois, Kansas and Indiana. Prior to her current position, Blanda served as a General Manager in the company’s South-Central Division since 2013. In addition to her time at Sparklight, Juli has over 25 years of telecommunications experience and over 24 years of management and leadership experience.
A consummate volunteer, Juli has served on many boards and committees including the San Antonio Food Bank and The Valero Alamo Bowl. She is the past- President of the Greater Texas Chapter of WICT and the past Chairperson for the Texas Cable Association. She is the Past-President of the Aransas Pass Rotary and serves as Vice President for Keep Aransas Pass Beautiful. She has been a mentor for other women through the Greater Texas chapter of Women in Cable and Telecommunications since 2013. Additionally, she is an active mentor of aspiring women in Cable One. Juli is the 2015 Rising Star recipient of the WICT Greater Texas Lone Star Awards and a graduate of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. She is also a graduate of Leadership San Marcos, Leadership San Antonio, Leadership Aransas Pass and Leadership Port Lavaca.
When Juli is not supporting Cable One/Sparklight or volunteering, she is training her puppy, working in her gardens, or swimming. Juli attended Texas A&M University where she studied Marketing and Spanish and received a Bachelors of Science in Business from Cappella University.
