As the Secretary for The WICT Network – Greater Texas Chapter, Erin Skattum brings a wealth of executive experience to the board. She currently serves as the National Director of Marketing Communications at FiberFirst, where she guides national strategy.
Erin’s extensive background in telecommunications includes a 17-year tenure at Charter Communications (formerly Time Warner Cable). Her career there spanned critical areas, including Product Management, Retail Stores, and Call Center operations, where she developed a comprehensive perspective on the industry. Prior to her tenure in telecommunications, she was the founder and CEO of a marketing company which coordinated large-scale promotions for entertainment corporations including MTV, Red Bull, and DreamWorks.
Erin is deeply committed to community service. With a passion for supporting underprivileged children, she dedicated six years to serving on the board of Community Storehouse, a children’s charity based in Keller, TX. She also volunteers her time as the Holiday Chair for Second Saturday Mothers and Sons, fostering community engagement. A proud alum of the University of Oklahoma, Erin holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree. Outside of her professional and charitable commitments, she enjoys quality time with her husband and teen son, relaxing at the movies, and experiencing the excitement of live theater performances.
