Gimette DeLaughter is the Director of B2B Field Operations at Optimum Cable, where she leads the strategic direction and execution of field operations across the Western region. In this role, she oversees internal field teams responsible for delivering high-quality telecommunications services to business customers, with a focus on optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing service delivery, and driving customer satisfaction.
Before joining Optimum, Gimette served as Director of Product Management at Comcast, where she played a key role in launching residential products across the Central Division. Her work centered on driving revenue growth, improving customer experience, and aligning product initiatives with strategic business goals.
Prior to Comcast, she spent over a decade at Cox Communications in leadership roles spanning Engineering, Technology Operations, and Field Operations. She began her career at The Weather Channel, contributing to the development of interactive television products.
Gimette holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from The University of South Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University. She is a passionate advocate for women’s leadership and professional development, having served in various board positions for the WICT Network Southeast chapter, including as Chapter President in 2022. She is also a graduate of the WICT Rising Leaders program (2011) and Half the Sky program (2018).
Based in Plano, Texas, in her spare time Gimette is probably traveling to exotic destinations or planning her next adventure.
