Experienced in leading multi-faceted local and regional teams, giving me the ability to balance business requirements with risk and regulatory demands, while driving growth and maximizing profitability.

As a trusted partner on all topics from advisory consulting to managed cyber solutions, she is an innovator leading cyber portfolio development, leveraging my experience to drive technical and delivery teams to succeed and deliver excellent services. Also a trusted advisor and CISO/CRO for several organizations. with Cross-sector experience in Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail, Critical National Infrastructure, Utilities, Defense and the Public Sector.

As Global Head of IT Risk for HSBC for 2 years and led projects reducing risk within the Global Businesses and Global functions of the bank, reporting to the HSBC board, accountable to the FCA and college of regulators. She has led forensic cyber investigations, breach remediation programs, delivered global technology solutions, developed risk strategies for transformative programs and advised several insurance firms on the financial impact of cyber incidents and seconded at key UK organizations including HSBC, Shell, OFGEM and major banks and retained as Fractional CISO into 4 FTSE 100 Accounts.

A regular conference speaker a supporter of DEI and women in technology/cyber initiatives. A member of the White Hat Ball Committee a Freeman of the City of London and member of The Worshipful Company of Information Technologists. Cheryl is on an Advisory Board member to 4 cyber organizations (IT and security services; Security recruitment; Next Gen SIEM; AI Risk and Governance) and volunteer supporter of Cyber Girls First CIIC, a not for profit organization delivering cyber awareness and training to Year 8 and Lower 6th form girls.
