More than 60 WICT GTX members, allies and sponsors gathered on Thursday, November 2 for three hours of leadership development, fellowship and fun. It was our first in a new series we are developing called WICT Tech Talks. This event featured esteemed leaders from Charter, Cognizant, IBM and Southwest Airlines. Wendy Howell, CEO of Executive Council Network led the panel discussion, and we heard great insights on what the new hype around AI will mean to the CMT industries. The WICT Network has a long tradition of using our Touchstones of Leadership to guide how we support the WICT community, and this event was no different.
We focused on:
• Listening with more than your ears — listen also with your heart.
• Inspire so others will follow — and dance like nobody’s watching!
• Be a catalyst for change — because the new tech revolution is bringing change at an ever-increasing rate.
Beyond the fun and celebration, the event raised $1,671.68 of scholarship funds to send to members of The WICT Network to attend leadership development programs. We want to offer a special thanks to Charter, Cognizant, Comcast, IBM and The Women’s Executive Network for sponsoring the event.

Thank you to our moderators and panel for great conversation!
A growing body of research shows that strengthening gender diversity fosters innovation and improves the bottom line. Programs like Tech It Out give our stakeholders tools they need to keep pace with the latest advances in technology while connecting them with industry leaders and pioneers.
