Carrie McCoy is a Manager of Business Operations for Comcast Cable in Houston, Texas. In her role, she is responsible for leading the Houston region day to day operations in Business Assurance and continuing to elevate the commitment to operating business the right way.
Carrie’s career of over 20 years in the cable industry has allowed her great experience and growth – successfully managing employees in several Finance departments – including Revenue Assurance, AR, and Collections. As a result of her hard work throughout the business, she has earned several awards of recognition for her contributions and achievements.
Community, career development, and self-awareness are extremely important to Carrie. In addition to her work, she has volunteered in a number of Company driven committees, such as the Safety Committee and Big Brother Big Sister. She’s also an active member of the Houston ERG – Women’s Network for which she currently serves as Lead – overseeing a board of 12 volunteers and a membership of over 400. Carrie also serves on the board for Toastmaster’s, and WICT.
She majored in Accounting and minored in Business at Texas Southern University. Carrie is a native Houstonian who now resides in Katy, TX with her two sons. She has one daughter who resides in Katy as well.
In her free time, Carrie enjoys cooking, listening to all genres of music, and reading – particularly African American literature and poetry. She also volunteers in Cub Scouts with her son where she serves as Head Treasurer.
